Don’t take our word for it, here are some testimonials from some of our students’ parents. You can see why we are so confident in the Livewire Rock Academy!
“I have 3 children who participate in Livewire. Livewire provides an excellent opportunity for children to have a creative outlet. They enjoy their lessons and look forward to the concerts which happen twice a year. They have a positive attitude towards developing their musical ability and treat it as fun and not a chore.” – Justine Long – Saffron Walden School
“My son has been coming for nearly a year now and has gained confidence in playing his guitar and has been supported fantastically by everyone who teaches him. Thanks.” – Sarah Lomas – Bishop’s Stortford School
“My daughter has been coming to guitar lessons for 2 and a half years now and she loves it! I remember learning music when i was young and it was never this much fun. That’s the secret – learning whilst having fun. They also play songs she actually likes!!” – Ben King – Epping School
“Livewire came to my son’s school and gave a demonstration, and I have not seen my son so enthusiastic about joining an activity. He has now been coming for 2 and a half years and has learned so much. He loves taking part in the concerts and his confidence has definitely grown.” – Julie Rees – Saffron Walden School
“Theo was hooked from the moment he went along to the free trial. He’s never been one to stick to one thing for any length of time, so to see him still enjoying himself over a year later is testament to just how good the school is. The teachers are fantastic and make each session fun. Thank you.” – Dean Harris – Saffron Walden School
“A fantastic experience that my boy has felt a part of for 2 years now. Watching him with his friends strumming his guitar on stage at a Livewire concert is a defining image of his childhood. It’s fun, friendly, and for the kids, a real achievement.” – Paul Bellany – Saffron Walden School
“What do you look for in a music school – patience, understanding, enthusiasm, ability to teach a wide range of skills at all levels, friendly and fun – I found all these and more at LiveWire Rock Academy.” – Jackie Fox – Dunmow School
“Just a quick note to thank you and your team for a great day yesterday. The children thoroughly enjoyed their sessions with you and many commented on how good it was to participate and not just watch a demonstration.
With so much positive feedback from children and staff alike, hope some of them will be in contact with you for lessons!
Many thanks again.” – Linda Ranger – Manor Fields School, Bishop’s Stortford
“I just wanted to touch base to say things are going really well since you made the recent tweaks to the set up at the drum lessons. The folders are fab and the weekly log sheet with instructor feedback and practice suggestions is superb! The lessons themselves have been top quality too! Thank you so much for being so receptive to the feedback!” – Fiona – Dunmow School
“Hello Simon – many thanks for coming along to the Festival yesterday – all your students were amazing and your vocalist, well, he’s just magnificent – why isn’t he famous? (Although if he was, he wouldn’t have been at the Festival). He can sing anything. Several people asked me why we didn’t have this kind of music every week! You are certainly doing something right, all your students were very professional and looked as if they really enjoy their music. Once again, many thanks.” – Barbara, Epping Festival
The children and staff at Pilgrims’ Way Primary School were very impressed with the recent visit from Kent Livewire Rock Academy. The set up was very professional and the interaction with the children was appropriate, fun and engaging. We all absolutely loved having a go at being rock stars. – Ruth – Pilgrim’s Way School, Canterbury
FEEDBACK FOR OUR LIVE CONCERTS
Harvey loves being part of Livewire, and playing as part of a group…as he doesn’t get to do any of this in school as the music teacher only likes the pupils to play classical instruments!…he recently went to an after school club which he was told was a guitar group, when he arrived it in fact a ukulele group of older pupils who started laughing at him when he got his guitar out, but he apparently plugged his guitar in, turned the amp up full and played ac/dc thunderstruck…….then got asked to leave!!
So if it wasn’t for Livewire he would have a chance to be part of something, so thank-you for all the hard work you and the team do, to allow kids like Harvey to do and play what they love doing!” – Lindsay Young
